Fiction rooted in reality. Every story draws from a real valley, a verifiable line in an ancient text, a chapter of history most have forgotten — extrapolated forward into speculative cinema.
Hollywood built universes from comic books. Japan built them from manga. Nepal sits on centuries of manuscripts, living traditions and landscapes that look imagined — yet its stories have never been woven into a connected cinematic universe. Nureka Studios was founded to change that: one connected world, told film by film, where the mystical is treated as science we haven't understood yet.
Every frame is grounded in a place you can stand in — valleys, courtyards, ridgelines and old towns of Nepal. The universe is fictional; the ground beneath it is not.
Stories are extrapolated from lines in old manuscripts, oral histories and chapters of the past most have forgotten — researched first, imagined second.
From those roots we project forward: what if the forgotten lines were true? That question is the engine of every film in the universe.
